| GM Run Over Workers To Boost Profits. |

The mainstream media will tell you that General Motors are cutting jobs because they lost money. Gm did not lose money they only lost profit. The company expects to earn something in the region between $2.3 billion to $2.8 billion this year. This figure is their profit. They were expecting roughly a million dollars more than this so how do they reach that target? Well they turn their backs on 30 000 US workers. They claim to be in financial difficulty and have blamed the cost of their healthcare packages for workers. Others have blamed the fact that General Motors simply has not developed alternative fuel vehicles and have instead continued to push the gas gusslign SUV`s. So who suffers? Have the board of director`s agreed to take a pay cut since the business failure must ultimately rest with them? No of course not. The people in the business who work the hardest for the least are the ones who will suffer. The reason the mainstream media does not tell it so bluntly is of course because they want that ad revenue from printing adverts for those gas gussling SUV`s |
